Royalty is all about privilege and elitism,not leadership.
In fact other than getting the mother of all welfare check’s. Royalty are as relevant,as udders on a bull moose.

The idea of monarchies in this day and age is absurd.That taxpayers should finance this institution is equally absurd.
Ridding Canada of the monarchy would go along way towards bringing English and French Canada closer.With near a third of the Canadian population being of francophone extraction.
Why would Canada continue to perpetuate this needless irritant ?
Particularly at this point in time when the Quebec people seem willing to move beyond the sovereignty debate.Perhaps the next step in strengthening the Canadian identity falls too “English Canada”.
Canada should be promoting,what the two communities have in common.Not what divides the two.
